While there’s much discussion on how in-person live entertainment is better perceived than digital scrolling or gluing to screens, Thierry Antonios, Managing Director of Hat Entertainment, shared his excitement on how it feels to gather large crowds to witness beautiful performances live, leaving behind what we typically see on devices.
Following the success of its first season, Hat Entertainment, in partnership with Miral, announced the return of PLUMA CIRCUS — a spectacular event set to take place in Yas Island. This season promises even bigger stunts, high-energy action, and a fresh take on traditional circus acts. With daring new acrobatics and enhanced visual effects, there’s much more to experience and explore.
“Mastering the stunts and performances that leave audiences spellbound is no small feat—it often requires 7 to 8 years of rigorous training. For many artists, this journey begins in childhood, as they dedicate their lives to honing their craft. The result? Magical, heart-stopping moments that enchant kids and adults alike,” said Thierry.
Antonios believes in an era dominated by screens, the debate between digital entertainment and live experiences is more relevant than ever.
“Yet, there’s simply no substitute for the thrill of a live performance. Watching these incredible feats in person fosters a sense of wonder and connection that no device can replicate. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness such large crowds choosing to experience these breathtaking performances in real time,” he added.
The highly anticipated show, PLUMA, will kick off on the 28th of March, 2025, with performances scheduled every Friday from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM, Saturdays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM, and Sundays from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Ticket prices start at AED95, with premium options available up to AED375. Children aged 2 and under can attend for free, making it an ideal family outing.
