The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has listed twelve types of complaints related to the workplace that community members can submit through the Ministry’s official channels.
The main aim of these public engagements is to crack down on workplace violations, improve compliance with laws, and address incorrect practices.

The ministry shared this awareness drive on its social media pages and stated, “Out of our commitment to enabling community members to help address any improper practices in the labour market, we provide various channels to report these practices, thereby enhancing oversight and raising the levels of compliance with regulations. You can reach us via the ministry’s (MOHRE) smart application, the website (mohre.gov.ae), or by contacting the call centre (600-590-000).”
According to the ministry, community members can file a report under the mentioned categories:
- Case of false Emiratisation
- Failure to meet Emiratisation requirements
- Harassment Complaints
- Non-payment of end-of-service benefits
- Working more than two hours of overtime
- Failure to grant annual leave or monetary compensation or postponing it
- Reporting a violating worker
- Worker accommodation violations
- Health and occupational safety breaches
- Violations of midday break (When in effect)
- Forced Labor
- Human trafficking
