The UAE Ministry of Defence has unveiled the Khalifa bin Zayed II Airborne Brigade Command, operating under the Presidential Guard, as part of a directive from President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who serves as the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
The announcement was made during the grand Loyalty Stand ceremony in Al Samih, which featured the swearing-in of the brigade’s flag. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, officiated as the patron of the event.
This strategic initiative aims to enhance the UAE Armed Forces’ capabilities by aligning with rapid advancements in global defense technology. It underscores the nation’s commitment to fostering military innovation and developing a sophisticated defense system to ensure the UAE’s security and stability.
