The UAE’s government petrol firm, Emarat, has announced renewed fuel prices for November. Motorists will see a slight uptick in petrol and diesel prices this month.
Below is a comprehensive breakdown of petrol and diesel prices for November 2024:
- Super 98: AED2.74 per liter
- Special 95: AED2.63 per liter
- E-Plus 91: AED2.63 per liter
- Diesel: AED2.67 per liter
The revised petrol and diesel prices will remain uniform across all seven emirates. In 2024, July saw the greatest fuel price hike, with the Super 98 costing AED4.63 per liter. This price change reflects a trend observed during the summer and autumn, with June, July, September, and October all seeing declines in the cost of fuel in the UAE.
Fuel prices in the country were liberalized in 2015, aligning local rates with global oil prices. In the last eight years, the fuel price committee has convened monthly to announce updated rates.
By publicly declaring monthly fuel prices, the UAE government aims to encourage its residents to utilize public transport and promote the use of alternative fuels through this measure.
