The UAE weather will experience a shift in conditions from Monday to Thursday, December 23 to December 26, with a combination of factors influencing the forecast. An extension of a surface low-pressure system from the southeast, along with an upper-air low-pressure system and cold air mass from the west, will lead to cloud formation across various areas.

These clouds may become convective at times, bringing intermittent rainfall, especially over coastal islands and the northern and eastern regions. The weather will remain partly cloudy throughout the week, with periods of rain expected at intervals.

Winds will shift from light to moderate southeasterly winds to northeasterly and northerly gusts, which may freshen at times, causing dust and sand to blow across the land. Additionally, the sea conditions will be slightly to moderately rough, with potential cloud cover over the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.

Residents are advised to stay updated on weather conditions and take necessary precautions during the rainy and windy periods. On December 22, social media was filled with videos as light showers swept across Sharjah, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. Residents quickly took to sharing their excitement, expressing their wish for the pleasant weather to continue all the way through to the New Year.
