The UAE experienced a cold start to the day with the lowest temperature recorded at 9.2°C in Al Jazeera B.G. Mezaira and Al Ghuwaifat (Al Dhafra Region) at 6.45 am UAE Local Time. Rainfall occurred in the area of Qarnain Island. On February 25th, rainfall hit the streets of Sharjah, Rolla, Qasamiya, and Majaz, among other areas.
Strong to fresh northwest winds, reaching speeds of up to 60 km/h, are expected to continue, along with very rough to rough sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf, where wave heights may reach up to 9 feet at times. These conditions are expected to persist until 6.00 am on Thursday, 27th February 2025.

Authorities are advising the public to follow safety measures during this period of rough seas. It is strongly recommended to avoid swimming, diving, or any marine activities due to the hazardous conditions at sea, said the NCM, National Center of Meteorology.
