The UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued red and yellow alerts for fog across various regions, including Bada Dafas in Al Dhafrah, on the morning of December 6. The alerts signal potentially hazardous weather conditions, with reduced visibility expected in affected areas.

According to the NCM’s forecast, skies will be fair to partly cloudy throughout the day. However, conditions are expected to become humid by night and into the early hours of Saturday morning. There is also a chance of mist formation in some internal areas during this time.

Humidity levels are forecast to range from 15% to 90%, while light to moderate winds will blow at speeds of up to 30 km/h. Temperatures will reach a high of 28ºC in Abu Dhabi and 27ºC in Dubai, with a chance of dropping as low as 21ºC in the cities. In mountainous areas, temperatures could dip to 8ºC.

The seas will remain relatively calm, with slight to moderate conditions in the Arabian Gulf and slight conditions in the Oman Sea. Residents and travelers are advised to stay updated on weather conditions and exercise caution due to the fog and mist.
