UAE Weather: Potential Dust Storms, Rainfall Expected In Some Areas

UAE Weather Update

The UAE experienced a change in the temperature today, with the lowest temperature of 13.8°C recorded in Raknah, Al Ain, at 6.15 am UAE local time. Meanwhile, the highest temperature reached 35.3°C in Barakah 2, Al Dhafra Region, at 13:15, on November 26. The National Center of Meteorology, NCM, issued a weather advisory, warning of potential dust storms and rainfall from Wednesday to Friday. According to them, a surface low-pressure system from the east, combined with an upper-air low-pressure system and jet stream from the west, will lead to cloud formation over parts of the country.
Meanwhile, from Wednesday night till Friday, clouds will cover up regions, with a gradual spike in fog. Soon to hit over western regions and spread to coastal areas, islands, and parts of the north and east, by tonight. This could lead to slighter chances of rainfall on Thursday, with skies gradually getting better by Friday afternoon.
In this transition, temperatures will drop and the sea conditions will be rough to extreme in the Arabian Gulf during the upcoming two days, while the Oman Sea will experience moderate to rough waves. -WAM
