As residents count days to Eid Al Fitr 2025 holidays in the UAE, there’s a hope for cooler temperatures to make the most of the long break. However, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast fluctuating weather conditions, with dense fog affecting parts of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah in recent days.
Warmer Days Ahead During Eid Al Fitr
The NCM predicts a gradual rise in temperatures over the coming days. On Saturday, temperatures are expected to reach 34°C in Abu Dhabi and 33°C in Dubai, with similar conditions expected on Sunday. By Monday, which is likely to be the first day of Eid Al Fitr, based on the sighting of the crescent moon, the mercury is set to climb to 37°C in the capital and 36°C in Dubai.

Eid Al Fitr Holiday Weather Forecast
The International Astronomical Centre recently projected that Eid Al Fitr will likely begin on Monday, March 31, marking the end of Ramadan 2025 and the start of an extended break for employees in both the public and private sectors. The past week for the UAE was milder, with temperatures dropping as low as 6.4°C in Jebel Jais, Ras Al Khaimah. However, according to an NCM forecaster, as northwesterly winds weaken, temperatures will continue to rise gradually over the next five days.
“The temperatures will increase gradually over the next five days. There will be less wind, so it will be hotter,” an NCM expert told The National. Residents planning outdoor celebrations for Eid Al Fitr should be prepared for warmer conditions and stay updated with official weather reports.
