A noticeable temperature rise is expected on Friday, followed by a decrease in the same on Sunday and Monday, especially in the western parts of the country. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) predicts chance of light rain on March 9, over the islands and in some western and coastal areas.
Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally fresh, and the sea will be slight in the Arabian gulf and Sea of Oman. Compared to the last week, today, the lowest temperature recorded over the country in the morning was 14.4°C in Raknah, Al Ain, at 5.45 am UAE Local time. On March 6, the highest temperature was 36.5°C in Al Shawamekh, Abu Dhabi.
During Ramadan 2025, the UAE is experiencing quite some fluctuations in the temperature. Last week, temperatures had suddenly dropped in the evening around 4 pm, with strong blowy winds across areas of Dubai and Sharjah. Some residents also took to social media to share glimspes of the views, gloomy skies and weather changes.
