Art Dubai’s upcoming edition is set to take place at Madinat Jumeirah from April 18th to 20th, 2025. The fair will offer fresh global perspectives across four key sections: Contemporary, Modern, Bawwaba, and Digital. Attendees can expect a dynamic program featuring new major artist commissions, performances, talks, workshops, and educational initiatives.
The 2025 edition will showcase over 100 galleries from more than 50 countries, highlighting Art Dubai’s core commitment to geographic diversity and discovery.
With more than 20 galleries participating for the first time, the fair will also feature a mix of established and emerging artists from the Gulf, Africa, and South Asia. As Dubai’s art market continues to grow, the event will include a strong presence of local Dubai-based galleries, alongside a rising number of Emirati artists.
“Art Dubai 2025 will present new iterations of our flagship programmes and an expanded collaboration with local and international partners, reaffirming the fair’s commitment to supporting and developing Dubai’s cultural ecosystem at all levels,” read a statement on social media.
The 18th edition of the Global Art Forum, organized by Commissioner Shumon Basar and curated by Y7, will be themed “The New New Normal.” The summit will explore various transformations, including advancements in quantum computing, Artificial Intelligence, gamified economics, cultural geopolitics, the beauty and luxury sectors, and the pervasive influence of social media on both personal and political spheres. It will feature a diverse range of artists, architects, academics, futurists, and intellectuals.
“The 2025 Art Dubai Commissions will present new performances and site-specific interventions examining the transformation of nature through technology and human experience,” read the statement.
Since its founding in 2007, Art Dubai has become the most significant art event in the Middle East, playing a pivotal role in the region’s thriving art scene and creative economy. It serves as a key platform for learning, discovery, and artistic exchange, with a focus on galleries and artists from underrepresented geographies.
